Systems Analyst Remote | £40,000 - £50,000 per annum | Permanent Are you an experienced Systems Analyst or Business Analyst who wants to use technology to make a genuine difference within health and social care? We are seeking a proactive, analytical and people-focused Systems Analyst to support the implementation, optimisation and ongoing development of digital systems across a growing care environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a systems professional who understands that effective technology is about more than systems and data; it is about helping care teams work safely, efficiently and effectively. The Role You will work closely with senior leaders, care managers, operational teams, internal stakeholders and technology providers to ensure digital systems meet business, operational and regulatory requirements. You will identify opportunities for improvement, support system implementations and help translate complex technical information into practical solutions for care professionals. Key responsibilities include: Analyse and optimise care, HR and administrative systems, identifying inefficiencies, risks and opportunities for improvement. Gather, document and translate user and system requirements into effective digital solutions. Support and lead the implementation of systems including electronic care records, medication management, rostering, HR, financial and compliance platforms. Coordinate system testing, data migration, implementation planning and go-live activity. Provide ongoing systems support, troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvement. Deliver engaging system training to clinical and non-clinical colleagues and develop clear user guides and training materials. Develop dashboards and management reports to support informed operational decision-making. Maintain data accuracy, integrity and security across systems. Support regulatory and compliance reporting, including care, safeguarding and incident-related information. Ensure systems align with data protection, access control and audit requirements. Work collaboratively with IT, compliance and operational teams to identify and manage technology, data and business continuity risks. What We Are Looking For We are looking for an experienced Systems Analyst, Business Analyst or similar IT professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a proven ability to understand system lifecycles, data flows and user requirements. You will ideally have: Experience working with healthcare, social care or care management systems. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills. The ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users. Strong documentation, process mapping and requirements-gathering skills. Experience supporting system implementations, testing and data migration. An understanding of GDPR, CQC and compliance requirements within care settings. A genuine appreciation of the care environment and the importance of reliable, secure and user-friendly technology. Project management or IT service management experience/certification would be advantageous. Why Join? £40,000 - £50,000 salary, dependent on experience.
