Registered Manager (must be nurse qualified) Location: Torquay Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 per annum Lead a Service That Changes Lives New Way Recruitment is partnering with an established, quality-focused care provider to recruit an experienced Registered Manager for a premium residential care service in Torquay. This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious, compassionate leader who is passionate about delivering outstanding person-centred care, developing high-performing teams, and driving continuous improvement. You'll have the autonomy to shape the service, inspire your team, and ensure residents receive the highest standards of care, dignity, and respect. If you're an experienced Registered Manager with a proven track record of achieving positive regulatory outcomes and creating a positive culture, we'd love to hear from you. The Role As Registered Manager, you'll have full operational responsibility for the service, ensuring exceptional care delivery, regulatory compliance, commercial performance, and outstanding leadership across all departments. Key Responsibilities Provide visible, compassionate leadership that promotes a positive, resident-focused culture. Lead, motivate and develop a multidisciplinary team to consistently deliver outstanding care. Ensure the service remains fully compliant with all relevant legislation, regulations and best practice. Drive quality improvement initiatives and maintain exceptional standards of care and governance. Manage budgets effectively whilst maintaining excellent occupancy and financial performance. Recruit, coach and retain high-quality team members, creating a culture of engagement and development. Build strong relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals and external stakeholders. Monitor clinical and operational performance using quality assurance systems and action plans. Promote personalised care that enables residents to live with dignity, independence and choice. Lead inspections confidently and maintain a service that is always inspection ready. About You Previous experience as a Registered Manager within elderly residential, nursing or dementia care. Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and adult social care legislation. Proven ability to lead successful teams and achieve excellent quality outcomes. Commercially aware with strong budget management experience. Passionate about delivering compassionate, person-centred care. Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or working towards) desirable. What's On Offer Salary of £70,000 - £75,000. Performance-related bonus. Generous annual leave entitlement.
