The Role As Registered Manager, you will have full operational responsibility for the service, ensuring residents receive safe, effective, and compassionate care while maintaining full regulatory compliance and creating a positive culture for both residents and staff. Key Responsibilities Provide strong, visible leadership and day-to-day management of the home. Ensure the delivery of outstanding person-centred care tailored to individual needs. Lead, motivate and develop a multidisciplinary team, promoting a culture of excellence and compassion. Maintain compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding requirements and all relevant legislation. Manage occupancy, budgets and resources effectively to support the home's ongoing success. Monitor quality assurance systems, audits and action plans to drive continuous improvement. Build positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals and external stakeholders. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, supervision and performance management of staff. Support resident wellbeing through meaningful activities, engagement and high-quality care planning. Lead the home through inspections and ensure the service consistently delivers excellent outcomes. Requirements Previous experience as a Registered Manager within a residential or nursing care setting. Proven track record of achieving positive regulatory outcomes. Strong leadership, people management and communication skills. Passion for delivering exceptional standards of elderly care. Sound knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding and best practice.
