Care Home Manager Location: Falkirk Salary: £45,000 per annum Nurse qualification is not required Are you an experienced care home leader with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, person-centred care? New Way Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of an established care provider for a Care Home Manager to lead a welcoming home supporting older people with residential, nursing and dementia care needs. This is an opportunity for a compassionate, motivated manager to make a positive difference to residents’ lives, support their team and drive continuous improvement. The Role As Care Home Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management and overall performance of the home. You will create an environment where residents feel valued, families feel reassured and staff feel supported to deliver their best. You do not need to be nurse qualified, but you must have a proven track record of successfully managing a care home, maintaining high care standards and leading teams effectively. Key Responsibilities Provide visible, approachable leadership to the nursing, care and wider home team. Maintain high standards of person-centred care, dignity and resident wellbeing. Ensure the home meets Care Inspectorate expectations and relevant quality standards. Oversee safeguarding, risk management and quality assurance. Manage budgets, staffing levels, occupancy and the home’s overall performance. Recruit, develop and retain a committed team. Build positive relationships with residents, relatives and external professionals. Identify opportunities for improvement and lead meaningful, lasting change. What We’re Looking For A proven track record of successfully managing a care home for older people, delivering strong care standards and positive outcomes. A strong understanding of dementia care and residents’ changing needs. Knowledge of Care Inspectorate expectations and care quality standards in Scotland. A supportive leadership style, with the confidence to guide teams and address challenges. Strong organisational skills and commercial awareness. A genuine commitment to compassionate, person-centred care. Applications are welcome from both nurse-qualified and non-nurse-qualified managers. The Opportunity A salary of £45,000 per annum.
