We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Manager to lead a well-established adult social care service in the Chelmsford area. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional who is passionate about delivering outstanding person-centred care, empowering teams, and driving service excellence. The Role As Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the safe, effective, and compliant operation of the service. You will lead from the front, creating a positive culture where both the people supported and your team can thrive. Key Responsibilities Hold full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service. Ensure high-quality, person-centred care and support is delivered consistently. Maintain compliance with CQC regulations, legislation, and company policies. Lead, motivate, coach, and develop a dedicated care team. Recruit, induct, supervise, and manage staff performance. Monitor and improve quality standards, audits, and service outcomes. Manage budgets effectively and ensure efficient use of resources. Build positive relationships with families, professionals, local authorities, and stakeholders. Promote safeguarding, dignity, choice, independence, and inclusion for the people supported. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery. Manage occupancy, referrals, assessments, and care planning processes where applicable. Ensure robust health and safety practices are maintained throughout the service. About You Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within adult social care. Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and care legislation. Proven leadership and people management experience. Passionate about delivering outstanding standards of care. Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to foster a positive, values-led culture. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards if required). Flexible, resilient, and committed to achieving positive outcomes for those you support.
