Registered Manager – Domiciliary Care Location: Cheltenham Salary: £40,000 – £42,000 per annum Hours: 40 hours per week (flexible working) Contract: Full-Time, Permanent An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Manager to join a newly established domiciliary care service in Cheltenham. This role offers the chance to take ownership of an already CQC-registered service and lead it through its next phase of growth and development. Working alongside a commercially focused business owner, you will be responsible for all operational, regulatory, and compliance aspects of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered from day one. This is an ideal opportunity for a motivated Registered Manager who enjoys building services, developing teams, and creating a culture of quality and excellence. Key Responsibilities Manage the transfer and maintenance of CQC registration. Ensure full compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements. Lead the day-to-day operation of the domiciliary care service. Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and quality assurance systems. Conduct client assessments and oversee care planning and service delivery. Recruit, onboard, train, and manage care staff. Develop staff training and development programmes. Monitor service quality, audits, and compliance activities. Build and lead a high-performing care team as the service grows. Maintain exceptional standards of care and customer service. About You To be considered for this position, you will have: A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (essential). Previous experience working as a Registered Manager within adult social care. A strong understanding of CQC regulations, compliance, and quality standards. Experience within a domiciliary care setting. Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills. The ability to work independently and establish robust operational systems.
