Registered Domiciliary Manager Location: Sunderland Salary: £38,000 – £50,000 Are you an experienced Registered Manager, Domiciliary Care Manager or Senior Care Manager looking for an opportunity where you can make a genuine difference? We are supporting an established care provider in the recruitment of a Registered Domiciliary Manager to lead and develop a high-quality homecare service in Sunderland. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced care professional who combines strong operational leadership with a genuine passion for person-centred care. The Role You will take overall responsibility for the effective management and continued development of the domiciliary care service, ensuring people receive safe, compassionate and consistently high-quality care. Key responsibilities include: Lead and manage the day-to-day operation of the domiciliary care service. Ensure care is delivered safely, respectfully and in line with individual needs and preferences. Maintain strong compliance with CQC regulations, legislation and best practice. Lead, support and develop a committed care team, promoting a positive and accountable culture. Oversee recruitment, induction, supervision, training and performance management. Monitor care plans, risk assessments, audits, incidents, safeguarding and quality assurance. Build strong relationships with people receiving care, their families, professionals and external stakeholders. Monitor service performance, staffing levels and operational effectiveness. Drive continuous improvement and ensure the service is always striving for better outcomes. Support the continued growth and development of the service while maintaining excellent standards of care. What We’re Looking For Previous management experience within domiciliary/homecare services. Strong understanding of CQC regulations and compliance requirements. Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a care team. Excellent knowledge of safeguarding, risk management and person-centred care. Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills. A genuine passion for improving people’s lives. Ideally, experience as a Registered Manager or significant senior management experience within domiciliary care.
