Regional Manager Kent & Essex £85,000- £90,000 per annum An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations Manager to join a respected and growing elderly care provider, overseeing a portfolio of five well-established residential and nursing care homes across Kent and Essex. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced multi-site leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional person-centred care, driving operational excellence, and supporting Home Managers to achieve outstanding outcomes. Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will take responsibility for the operational performance of your portfolio, ensuring each home delivers high-quality care, maintains regulatory compliance, and achieves strong commercial and financial performance. Key Responsibilities Provide operational leadership across a portfolio of five elderly care homes, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred care. Support, mentor and develop Home Managers to achieve high levels of performance, engagement and retention. Drive continuous quality improvement, ensuring homes consistently meet and exceed CQC standards. Monitor operational performance including occupancy, agency usage, staffing, quality indicators, compliance and financial results. Work closely with Home Managers to identify opportunities for service improvement and sustainable growth. Ensure compliance with all CQC regulations, safeguarding legislation and company policies. Manage budgets effectively, supporting homes to achieve financial targets while maintaining exceptional standards of care. Build strong relationships with residents, relatives, commissioners, local authorities and healthcare professionals. Support acquisitions, service improvements and operational projects as required. Promote a positive culture focused on quality, accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement. About You Proven experience in an Operations Manager or Regional Manager role within elderly care. Experience managing multiple residential and/or nursing care homes. Excellent understanding of CQC regulations and quality standards. A strong track record of improving compliance, occupancy and operational performance. Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and financial performance. An inspiring and supportive leader who enjoys developing Home Managers and leadership teams. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Kent and Essex. Nurse qualification is not essential.
