Nursing Home Manager – Surrey Location: Ashford | Salary: Up to £70,000 A leading care provider is seeking an experienced Registered Nursing Home Manager to lead an established nursing service in Ashford. This is an opportunity for an ambitious, compassionate and commercially aware senior care professional to make a genuine difference to residents, families and the wider team while driving consistently high standards of care. The Role: As Registered Manager, you will provide strong, visible leadership across the home, ensuring exceptional person-centred care, regulatory compliance and an engaging environment where residents can thrive. You will lead from the front, develop your team and work collaboratively with families, professionals and senior stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Take overall responsibility for the safe, effective and compassionate management of the nursing home. Provide inspirational leadership, coaching and development to the management and care teams. Maintain outstanding standards of person-centred care, safeguarding, dignity and wellbeing. Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, legislation, policies and best practice. Lead quality assurance, audits, care planning and continuous improvement initiatives. Monitor clinical standards, risk management, medication, health and safety and infection prevention. Build positive relationships with residents, relatives, healthcare professionals and external stakeholders. Recruit, retain and develop a high-performing team, creating a positive and accountable culture. Manage budgets, resources, occupancy and operational performance effectively. Champion resident choice, independence and meaningful engagement throughout the home. Lead confidently through change while maintaining a calm, supportive and solutions-focused approach. A relevant nursing or social care qualification and Registered Manager experience within a nursing home environment are highly desirable. You should understand CQC requirements and be confident managing people, performance, compliance and budgets.
