Medication Compliance Auditor National Role | Salary: To Be Confirmed An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and detail-focused Medication Compliance Auditor to join a well-established and values-led care organisation operating across the UK. This role is ideally suited to a senior care professional with extensive care home experience and a strong background in medication auditing, governance, and regulatory compliance. This is a highly rewarding position for someone passionate about improving medication safety, driving best practice, and supporting care services to achieve exceptional standards of care. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive medication audits across residential, nursing, and specialist care services nationally • Review medication administration processes, MAR charts, stock control, storage procedures, and compliance standards • Identify areas of risk and provide clear action plans and practical recommendations for improvement • Support Home Managers and senior leadership teams with medication governance and regulatory compliance • Deliver guidance, coaching, and support to care teams around medication best practice • Monitor trends, produce detailed audit reports, and escalate concerns where necessary • Ensure services remain compliant with CQC regulations, internal policies, and current legislation • Work collaboratively with operational and clinical teams to drive continuous improvement and positive outcomes for residents Requirements: • Previous experience working within elderly care, nursing homes, or complex care settings • Proven experience carrying out medication audits within care home environments • Strong understanding of medication management, governance, and compliance standards • Experience supporting services through inspections and quality improvement initiatives • Excellent communication, organisational, and report-writing skills • Ability to travel nationally as required • Passionate, compassionate, and quality-driven approach to care What’s on Offer: • Opportunity to join a progressive and supportive organisation with a strong people-first culture • National role with autonomy and variety • Ongoing professional development and career progression opportunities • Supportive senior leadership team • Competitive benefits package including mileage/travel support, annual leave entitlement, pension contribution, wellbeing support, and recognition initiatives • A rewarding opportunity to positively influence care quality and resident safety across multiple services Our Promise: At New Way Recruitment, we believe in Heart-Led Hiring in Care.
