Interim Turnaround Manager – Complex Care Location: Bournemouth Salary: £300 per day Contract: Interim Essential Criteria: Must be on the DBS update service, and be immediately available New Way Recruitment is supporting the search for an experienced Interim Turnaround Manager – Complex Care to provide decisive, compassionate leadership within a complex care environment. This is a key opportunity for an accomplished care professional who can quickly understand operational challenges, stabilise services and drive sustainable improvements while keeping the people receiving care firmly at the heart of every decision. The Role As Interim Turnaround Manager, you will take ownership of operational performance and lead a focused period of improvement across the service. You will be confident working within complex care settings, able to identify risks and barriers quickly, and capable of implementing practical solutions that improve quality, compliance, staffing and outcomes. Key responsibilities include: Provide strong, visible leadership during a period of service improvement and turnaround. Assess current operational performance, identify areas of risk and establish clear improvement priorities. Develop and implement robust action plans to address quality, compliance, staffing and operational challenges. Ensure care delivery consistently meets regulatory, clinical and organisational standards. Work closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders to provide clear updates on progress, risks and outcomes. Strengthen staff performance, accountability, engagement and retention through effective leadership. Review staffing structures, deployment and workforce requirements to support safe and effective care. Promote a positive culture focused on dignity, choice, safeguarding, independence and person-centred outcomes. Ensure robust governance, audits, incident management, risk management and quality assurance processes are embedded. Lead effectively through challenging situations while maintaining calm, professional and compassionate leadership. Identify opportunities for sustainable improvements and ensure changes are embedded beyond the interim assignment. Maintain strong relationships with service users, families, professionals and internal stakeholders. Essential Experience Proven experience in a senior operational or management position within complex care. Demonstrable experience of turnaround, service improvement or stabilising underperforming services. Essential: significant experience working with neuro service users. Strong understanding of quality assurance, governance, safeguarding and regulatory compliance. Experience leading and developing multidisciplinary or complex care teams. Confident managing performance, risk and operational challenges. Strong knowledge of CQC expectations and best practice within adult social care. Ability to quickly build trust, establish credibility and deliver measurable improvements. Resilient, solution-focused and compassionate leadership style. What’s on Offer £300 per day interim rate.
