Interim Registered Manager Location: Enfield, North London Rate: £300 per day The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Interim Registered Manager to lead a well-established care service in Enfield. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and accomplished leader who thrives in interim assignments, enjoys driving improvement, and can quickly embed themselves within a service. Working with a quality-focused provider, you will take full operational responsibility for the home, ensuring safe, effective, and person-centred care while maintaining regulatory compliance and providing strong leadership to the existing team. This role requires someone who can make an immediate impact, support the service through a key period, and maintain high standards throughout the assignment. Key Responsibilities Provide strong, visible leadership and quickly establish credibility with the team. Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and maintain high standards of care. Lead the service through day-to-day operational management with confidence and professionalism. Support and motivate the existing management team while promoting a positive working culture. Oversee safeguarding, governance, risk management, and quality assurance processes. Monitor occupancy, staffing, budgets, and overall operational performance. Identify areas for improvement and implement effective action plans where required. Build positive relationships with residents, families, professionals, and external agencies. Ensure the home remains inspection-ready and delivers consistently high-quality care. Provide stability, guidance, and leadership during the interim period. About You Previous experience as a Registered Manager within a residential or nursing care setting. Proven track record of successfully managing interim assignments or leading services through periods of change. Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations, governance, and compliance. A confident leader who can quickly assess situations and implement improvements where needed. Commercially aware with experience managing budgets, staffing, and occupancy.
