Interim Nursing Home Manager – Stourbridge Location: Stourbridge | Rate: £350–£450 per day | Contract: Interim New Way Recruitment is seeking an experienced, compassionate and decisive Interim Nursing Home Manager to provide strong leadership within a well-established nursing care environment in Stourbridge. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse-qualified manager who can quickly establish credibility, provide operational stability and lead a team with compassion, accountability and a clear focus on high-quality resident outcomes. Key Responsibilities Provide confident day-to-day leadership across the nursing home. Ensure consistently high standards of clinical care, safeguarding and resident wellbeing. Lead, motivate and develop the management and care teams. Maintain strong oversight of governance, compliance, audits and quality assurance. Drive improvements against regulatory and organisational standards. Monitor staffing, performance, recruitment, training and workforce planning. Work collaboratively with residents, relatives, healthcare professionals and external stakeholders. Respond effectively to incidents, complaints and emerging risks. Promote a positive, respectful and person-centred culture throughout the service. Provide clear leadership during a period of interim management and support sustainable improvements. Essential Requirements Must be nurse qualified and hold a valid UK nursing registration. Proven experience managing a nursing home or comparable elderly care service. Strong knowledge of clinical governance, safeguarding, compliance and quality standards. Confident leadership and people-management skills. Demonstrable experience managing inspections, audits and service improvement. Excellent communication, organisational and decision-making abilities.
