Interim Home Manager – Residential Care Home Location: Kent Rate: £300 per day Contract: Interim An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Interim Home Manager to lead a well-established residential care home in Kent during a period of transition. We are seeking an inspiring and compassionate leader with a proven track record of driving compliance, supporting teams, and delivering outstanding person-centred care. This is an ideal opportunity for an accomplished Home Manager or experienced turnaround specialist who thrives in interim assignments and is passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of residents and colleagues alike. The Role Provide strong operational leadership and day-to-day management of the home. Maintain and improve regulatory compliance in line with CQC standards and the Health and Social Care Act. Promote a culture of dignity, compassion, inclusion and person-centred care. Lead, motivate and develop a multidisciplinary team to achieve high-quality outcomes. Oversee safeguarding, governance, quality assurance and risk management processes. Ensure safe staffing levels, effective recruitment and workforce development. Drive continuous improvement through robust audits, action plans and performance monitoring. Manage budgets, occupancy, resources and overall home performance. Build positive relationships with residents, families, professionals and external stakeholders. Support the home through periods of change while maintaining exceptional standards of care. About You Previous experience as a Registered Home Manager or Interim Home Manager within elderly residential care. Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding and governance. Demonstrable experience improving compliance and leading successful inspections. Confident leader with excellent communication and people management skills. Passionate about delivering exceptional, person-centred care. Flexible, resilient and able to adapt quickly within an interim environment.
