Interim Care Consultant Leicestershire £300-£350 per day Are you a passionate nurse leader with a proven track record of transforming underperforming Learning Disabilities services? We are seeking an experienced Interim Care Consultant to support a specialist Learning Disabilities service through a period of significant improvement and positive change. This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate, resilient, and commercially aware healthcare professional who thrives on delivering sustainable improvements in quality, compliance, culture, and outcomes. This role would suit an experienced Registered Manager, Operations Manager, Quality Consultant, Turnaround Manager, or Clinical Lead looking to make a meaningful impact within a service that requires strong leadership and expert guidance. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and support the turnaround of a Learning Disabilities service requiring improvement. - Conduct comprehensive service assessments and implement robust improvement plans. - Drive compliance against CQC regulations, quality standards, and best practice frameworks. - Provide visible leadership, coaching, and mentorship to management and frontline teams. - Improve service user outcomes through person-centred care approaches. - Strengthen governance, auditing, risk management, and safeguarding practices. - Support recruitment, retention, and workforce development initiatives. - Develop positive cultures focused on accountability, compassion, and continuous improvement. - Build strong relationships with stakeholders, families, commissioners, and multidisciplinary professionals. - Monitor progress against KPIs and provide regular improvement reports to senior leadership. Requirements: - Significant experience within Learning Disabilities services. - Demonstrable success in service turnaround, quality improvement, or transformation projects. - Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations and regulatory compliance. - Exceptional leadership, coaching, and change management skills. - Ability to quickly assess challenges and implement practical solutions. - Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
