The Role Working closely with the Clinical Manager and wider leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing clinical operations, maintaining outstanding care standards and supporting the continued success of the service. Key Responsibilities • Support the day-to-day clinical management of the nursing home, ensuring safe, effective and compassionate care delivery. • Lead, mentor and develop nursing and care teams, promoting a positive culture of learning and continuous improvement. • Monitor and maintain compliance with CQC regulations, clinical governance frameworks and organisational policies. • Conduct clinical audits, quality assurance reviews and risk assessments to drive service excellence. • Support care planning processes, ensuring residents receive personalised care tailored to their individual needs and preferences. • Oversee medication management and clinical practices, ensuring adherence to professional standards. • Build positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals and external stakeholders. • Assist with occupancy, service development and operational objectives alongside the senior management team. • Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management and staff retention initiatives. • Act as a visible clinical leader, promoting best practice and delivering outstanding resident outcomes. About You • Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with an active NMC PIN. • Previous experience in a Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead, Unit Manager or Senior Nurse leadership position within elderly care. • Strong knowledge of CQC standards, clinical governance and safeguarding. • Passionate about delivering person-centred care and improving resident experiences. • Excellent leadership, communication and relationship-building skills. • Ability to inspire teams and drive high performance in a fast-paced care environment. • Committed to maintaining the highest standards of clinical quality and compliance.
