Deputy Care Home Manager Location: Croydon Salary: £32,000 per annum Lead with Compassion. Inspire Positive Change. Are you an experienced Senior Support Worker, Team Leader or Deputy Manager looking to take the next step in your leadership career? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established specialist care provider seeking a compassionate and motivated Deputy Care Home Manager to support the day-to-day leadership of a residential service supporting adults with complex needs. This is an opportunity to join a provider that values person-centred care, empowers its teams and is committed to delivering outstanding outcomes for the people it supports. The Role Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will: Support the day-to-day running of the service. Lead, motivate and develop a dedicated care team. Promote a positive, safe and person-centred culture. Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, policies and best practice. Support with audits, quality assurance and continuous improvement. Assist with rota management, staffing and resource planning. Manage incidents, safeguarding concerns and risk assessments appropriately. Build positive relationships with families, professionals and external agencies. Act as the Registered Manager’s deputy in their absence. Champion dignity, independence, choice and meaningful outcomes for every individual. About You Previous experience in a Senior or Deputy management role within adult social care. Strong knowledge of CQC standards and safeguarding legislation. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Passionate about delivering exceptional person-centred care. Calm, organised and confident in leading teams. Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (essential). Level 5 qualification or willingness to work towards it (desirable).
