CQC Inspector – Care Consultancy Location: Harrow, London | Nationwide Travel Salary: £70,000 – £75,000 per annum Benefits: Company Car or Car Allowance Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Sector: Adult Social Care / Care Consultancy Are you an experienced CQC Inspector looking to use your regulatory expertise from a different perspective? We are recruiting confidentially on behalf of an established and highly regarded care consultancy that works with health and social care providers across the UK, supporting organisations to improve quality, strengthen compliance and achieve excellent regulatory outcomes. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced CQC Inspector to join their consultancy team. The role will predominantly involve working with care homes and adult social care services, including elderly residential and nursing care, learning disabilities (LD), supported living and other specialist care services. This is a senior position where you will use your first-hand knowledge of CQC regulation and inspection methodology to work directly with care providers, identifying areas of risk, driving improvements and helping services maintain consistently high standards. The Role You will work with care organisations nationwide, providing expert regulatory and compliance support, including: Conducting comprehensive mock CQC inspections and compliance audits Working predominantly across care homes, elderly care, nursing, learning disabilities and supported living services Assessing services against current CQC regulations and quality requirements Identifying compliance gaps, regulatory risks and areas requiring improvement Producing detailed reports and practical improvement plans Supporting providers with CQC preparation and ongoing regulatory compliance Advising Registered Managers, Responsible Individuals, providers and senior leadership teams Supporting services following inspections or where regulatory concerns have been identified Helping organisations strengthen governance, quality assurance and operational standards Travelling nationwide to support a varied portfolio of adult social care providers About You Previous experience working as a CQC Inspector is essential for this position.
