Clinical Service Manager (NMC Registered Nurse) Bexleyheath £60,000 per annum Are you a passionate nurse leader ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older people? We are seeking an experienced Clinical Service Manager to join a well-established, high-quality residential and nursing care service in Bexleyheath. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Registered Nurse with strong leadership experience to play a pivotal role in driving clinical excellence, supporting teams, and ensuring the highest standards of person-centred care. This role would suit a Clinical Manager, Deputy Manager, Unit Manager or experienced Home Manager who is committed to delivering exceptional outcomes for residents whilst leading and developing high-performing care teams. The Role As Clinical Service Manager, you will provide strong clinical leadership across the service, ensuring outstanding standards of nursing care, regulatory compliance, resident wellbeing and team performance. Key Responsibilities • Lead and oversee all clinical operations within the service • Ensure safe, effective and person-centred care is delivered at all times • Provide leadership, coaching and support to nursing and care teams • Drive continuous improvement and clinical governance initiatives • Monitor and maintain compliance with CQC standards and regulatory requirements • Conduct audits, analyse outcomes and implement action plans where required • Support recruitment, retention and development of clinical staff • Manage medication systems and clinical risk effectively • Build positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals and external stakeholders • Promote a culture of compassion, dignity, respect and excellence throughout the service • Support occupancy growth through the delivery of exceptional care standards and reputation management • Contribute to strategic service development and operational performance Requirements • Active NMC registration (RGN or RMN) • Previous experience in a Clinical Manager, Deputy Manager, Home Manager or similar senior clinical leadership role • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and clinical governance • Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop multidisciplinary teams • Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills • Passion for delivering exceptional elderly care • Committed to continuous improvement and quality outcomes Benefits • Competitive salary of £60,000 per annum • Generous annual leave entitlement • Company pension scheme • Ongoing professional development and funded training opportunities • Career progression within a growing care organisation • NMC registration support • Access to employee wellbeing initiatives • Recognition and reward programmes • Supportive senior leadership team • Employee assistance programme • Free on-site parking • Meals provided whilst on duty If you are a nurse-qualified leader looking for an opportunity where you can genuinely influence care quality, inspire teams and make a lasting difference to residents' lives, we would love to hear from you.
