We’re recruiting for a compassionate and motivated Care Team Leader to join a specialist supported living service, leading a dedicated team that empowers adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs to live fulfilled, independent lives within their own homes. The Role Working closely with the Registered Manager, you’ll lead from the front, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance and support are consistently delivered across the service. You’ll motivate your team, champion person-centred practices and help create an environment where both colleagues and the people you support can flourish. Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate and support a team of Support Workers to deliver exceptional, person-centred care. Promote independence, choice, dignity and positive outcomes for every individual. Ensure care plans, risk assessments and support records remain accurate and up to date. Monitor service quality through audits, observations and continuous improvement initiatives. Support recruitment, inductions, supervision, coaching and performance management. Create effective rotas to ensure safe staffing and continuity of care. Promote positive behaviour support and person-centred approaches. Maintain compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding, medication management and health & safety legislation. Build positive relationships with families, professionals and external agencies. Investigate incidents, manage complaints appropriately and contribute to service improvements. Support the Registered Manager with operational performance, governance and quality assurance. Lead by example, creating a positive, inclusive and values-driven culture. About You You’ll be someone who genuinely believes great care starts with great leadership. You’ll have: Experience working within supported living or adult social care. Previous experience as a Team Leader, Senior Support Worker or similar supervisory role. Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and safeguarding. Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and/or complex needs. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Confidence managing staff performance, rotas and quality standards. A calm, compassionate and solution-focused approach. Flexibility to participate in on-call duties where required. NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Level 4/5 desirable or willingness to work towards). What’s On Offer Competitive hourly rate of £15.00 - £16.00.
