Care Home Manager - Residential Care Aylesbury £45,000 - £50,000 per annum Lead with Compassion. Inspire Excellence. Change Lives. Are you an experienced Care Home Manager looking for an opportunity to lead a well-established residential care service where quality, dignity, and person-centred care are at the heart of everything? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Home Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a residential care home in Aylesbury. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate leader who is committed to delivering outstanding care, developing high-performing teams, and creating a warm, supportive environment where residents can truly thrive. As Home Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the service delivers exceptional standards of care, achieves regulatory compliance, and maintains a positive culture for residents, families, and colleagues alike. Key Responsibilities Provide visible, inspirational leadership to the care team, promoting a culture of compassion, dignity, and respect. Ensure the home consistently delivers high-quality, person-centred care in line with regulatory requirements and best practice. Maintain full compliance with CQC standards, policies, procedures, and relevant legislation. Lead, motivate, coach, and develop staff to achieve excellent care outcomes and professional growth. Manage occupancy levels and support the home's continued growth and success. Oversee recruitment, retention, induction, supervision, and performance management processes. Effectively manage budgets and resources while maintaining exceptional standards of care. Build strong relationships with residents, relatives, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote a positive quality-focused culture. Ensure safeguarding responsibilities are fully understood and embedded throughout the service. What We're Looking For Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Care Home Manager, or Deputy Manager ready to step into a leadership role. Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, care standards, and residential care operations. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams. Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills. Passion for delivering exceptional resident-focused care. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards this if required). Benefits Competitive salary of £45,000 - £50,000. Supportive senior leadership team.
