Care Compliance Inspector Location: Midlands & South (Regional Travel Required) Salary: Up to £80,000 Are you an experienced care leader with a passion for quality, governance and achieving outstanding standards with a Clinical background We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established, values-driven care provider seeking an accomplished Care Compliance Inspector to support and strengthen quality across a portfolio of services throughout the Midlands and South. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior care professional who thrives on improving outcomes, supporting operational teams, ensuring regulatory excellence, and driving continuous quality improvement across residential care services. If you're passionate about delivering exceptional care through strong governance, compliance and compassionate leadership, we'd love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive quality, compliance and governance inspections across multiple care services. Evaluate services against CQC regulations, Fundamental Standards and current legislation. Identify areas for improvement and produce detailed inspection reports with clear, achievable action plans. Support Registered Managers and senior operational teams to achieve sustained regulatory compliance and improved inspection outcomes. Monitor service performance through audits, quality assurance visits and compliance reviews. Analyse trends, risks and performance data to proactively drive service improvements. Coach, mentor and challenge leadership teams to embed a culture of continuous quality improvement. Ensure policies, procedures and governance frameworks remain compliant with current legislation and best practice. Participate in pre-inspection readiness reviews and provide ongoing regulatory support. Escalate significant risks appropriately while promoting positive, person-centred solutions. Work collaboratively with operational leadership to enhance quality, safety and resident experience. Promote a compassionate, values-led culture focused on dignity, respect and outstanding care. What We're Looking For Significant senior leadership experience within adult social care. Extensive knowledge of CQC regulations, governance and compliance. Proven experience improving inspection outcomes across multiple services. Strong auditing, investigative and report-writing skills. Confident communicator able to influence and support senior leadership teams. Passion for quality, continuous improvement and person-centred care. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.
