Business Development Manager – Adult Social Care Location: Warrington Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 + Performance Incentives Full-Time | Permanent New Way Recruitment is proud to be supporting a values-led, quality-driven care provider in the appointment of an experienced Business Development Manager. This role is for a commercially astute senior professional who understands the responsibility that comes with growing services that support vulnerable adults. If you are passionate about ethical growth, sustainable occupancy, and building partnerships that genuinely improve lives, we would welcome a confidential conversation. The Opportunity You will lead strategic growth across established and developing services, ensuring delivery (hours) targets are achieved through strong local authority relationships, private referrals, and community engagement. This is not volume-led sales; it is relationship-led development grounded in compassion, quality, and integrity. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a regional growth strategy aligned with organisational values and CQC compliance standards Build and maintain strong relationships with Local Authorities, ICBs, case managers, and private referrers Identify new business opportunities within residential, supported living, and complex care pathways Lead tender submissions, framework applications, and contract negotiations Analyse occupancy trends, market data, and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions Support service managers in maintaining high occupancy while safeguarding quality of care Represent the organisation at networking events, provider forums, and stakeholder meetings Collaborate with operational leadership to ensure seamless onboarding and placement sustainability Maintain accurate CRM reporting and pipeline forecasting About You Proven business development experience within adult social care Strong working knowledge of local authority commissioning processes Commercially driven but values-led in approach Confident negotiator with excellent stakeholder management skills Data-informed decision maker with strategic planning capability Experienced in managing full sales cycles from enquiry to placement Passionate about delivering positive outcomes for vulnerable adults What’s on Offer Competitive base salary of £40,000 – £50,000 Performance-related bonus structure Mileage allowance / travel expenses Flexible working arrangements Ongoing professional development and leadership training Supportive executive team with clear growth vision Opportunity to shape expansion strategy within a reputable, person-centred organisation Pension contribution Generous annual leave entitlement At New Way Recruitment, we believe in Heart-Led Hiring in Care.
