Assistant Care Manager – Domiciliary Care Location: Wirral Salary: £30,000 per annum Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Are you an experienced Care Supervisor, Deputy Manager or Assistant Care Manager ready to take the next step in your career? We are recruiting for a compassionate and driven Assistant Care Manager to join a well-established domiciliary care service in the Wirral. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who genuinely cares about improving people's lives while also having the leadership skills to support, motivate and develop a successful care team. Working closely with the Registered Manager, you'll play an integral role in maintaining high standards of person-centred care, compliance and operational performance, ensuring individuals are supported to remain safe, independent and respected within their own homes. The Role Support the day-to-day management of a busy domiciliary care service Lead, motivate and develop care teams to deliver compassionate, person-centred support Support recruitment, onboarding, supervision and ongoing staff development Coordinate staffing rotas and ensure safe, effective service coverage Maintain accurate care records, reports and regulatory documentation Support care planning, reviews and quality assurance Manage and investigate concerns and complaints professionally Ensure compliance with CQC requirements, safeguarding, health & safety and internal procedures Build strong relationships with service users, families, commissioners and external professionals Support the Registered Manager with service performance and sustainable growth Participate in the on-call rota and provide operational support when required Step into the service when necessary to ensure continuity and quality of care About You You'll ideally have previous supervisory or management experience within domiciliary care and understand what it takes to balance outstanding care with the demands of running a successful service.
